Access to breakthrough cancer treatments — close to home, with personalized care and support.
According to the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) — the accrediting body that guides cancer treatments nationwide — the ideal cancer treatment often includes participation in a clinical trial. Clinical trials are carefully designed research studies that test new treatments, combinations, or approaches to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
Tri County is fortunate to partner with Mercy Cancer Center onsite, providing patients direct access to national cooperative clinical trials through many well-known organizations that have advanced the treatment and support of cancer and hematology patients. These include:
Mercy Cancer Center provides clinical trial support with the assistance of three experienced Registered Nurses and an Administrative Regulatory Coordinator, ensuring patients receive the best care possible throughout the trial process.
Tri County additionally offers clinical trials through our own in-house staff, who bring many years of clinical trial experience along with research certification (C.C.R.P.) through the Society of Credentialed Research Professionals (SoCRA). This certification and expertise provides access to an even broader range of clinical trials, giving our patients more options for cutting-edge treatment.
Tri County is proud to offer many of the same clinical trials available at large, nationally recognized cancer centers — but with the added benefit of personalized care, familiar surroundings, and the convenience of staying close to home. You don't have to travel far to access the latest advances in cancer treatment.
